Some state that magick denotes metaphysical, mystical moving energy and separates it from parlor tricks used onstage, but this is not true. The word ‘ magick’ was coined by occultist Aleister Crowley to indicate any operation you use to work towards your True Will, and according to him, you had to use special magical rituals to even find out what that True Will was. Working towards your True Will need not entail spell work at all and could be something as simple as “blowing your nose” he wrote.
