How to Deal with Pet Peeves
Regardless of your Zodiac Sign, there are going to be things that drive you up the wall and make you pull your hair out. You may want to stop them from happening, but have absolutely no control over that. If you can't change things, you can try to ignore them or even tolerate them. You may be able to just say no to the people who are guilty of your pet peeves.
Ignore Them
Sometimes, the worst thing you can do is react to something. Completely ignoring it and moving on with your life as if it didn't happen may be the best policy in some situations. If you are a Virgo, and a lazy person does not affect your life directly, shift your attention to something else. Your pet peeves will always bother you. Tolerate Them
Sometimes, you can't ignore things that drive you crazy, so you're just going to have to put up with them. If you are a Libra, and your next door neighbor let their yard go to seed and it's an eyesore, you're just gonna put up with it if you can't change that. It's difficult to coexist with people who do things you wish they wouldn't. The old saying “Live and let live” speaks a deep truth. Other people get to make choices, even if they're bad ones, and even if those bad choices frustrate us. Say No
Sometimes we do have some say in the matter, though. When something directly affects us, and we do have a choice, we can refuse to participate or be affected by things that bother us. You can suggest other plans, or tell them you'll go along every so often, but you just can't stand to do that every single week without fail. Sometimes we do have some control, and we can create positive change. It’s not fair that we have to stop people from doing things that upset us, but sometimes we have to. Sometimes people aren't doing these things to upset you, and if you have a conversation, explaining how it makes you feel, they will apologize and stop.
